DOS Holds a Meeting of Hearing Aid Dispensing Advisory Board

Albany, NY - The New York Department of State will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, October 10, 10:30 am at One Commerce Plaza, 99 Washington Avenue, in Albany, regarding the profession of dispensing hearing aids. The Department’s Division of Licensing Services issues licenses to persons who dispense hearing aids, and the Hearing Aid Dispensing Advisory Board advises the Department on adoption of rules and regulations relating to this discipline.

The Department’s Hearing Aid Dispensing Advisory Board is convening to discuss the internet sale of hearing aids. This meeting is open to the public.
