Department of State Board of Real Estate Appraisal to Hold Meeting

ALBANY - The New York Department of State will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, November 28, 10:30 a.m. at 99 Washington Avenue in Albany, 65 Court Street in Buffalo, and 123 William Street in NYC. The Department’s Division of Licensing Services issues licenses to persons who conduct appraisals on real estate, and the Board of Real Estate Appraisal assists the Department in adopting rules and regulations relating to this discipline.

The Department’s Board of Real Estate Appraisal is convening to discuss proposed legislation for appraisal management companies and mandatory licensing. The meeting is open to the general public.
